A real photographic postcard of World War I soldiers at an ostrich farm, Los Angeles, California, December 1918. A photo of a group of soldiers in uniform, standing next to and behind an ostrich pulling a wagon. One of the soldiers is sitting in the wagon. With delamination of the top left corner, abrasion on all edges, a crease and tear at the top of the postcard, a stain on the top right corner, inscriptions in ink, moderate fading, as well as stains on the reverse. The object is in fair condition overall.
