YARD AT THE EAST AND IN FRONT OF LA CASA NUEVA
Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of the area at the west and in front of La Casa Nueva from the west, ca. 1925. The view shows a small portion of the west elevation of the house with the roof tiled, the walls unplastered and scaffolding against the building; west side of the front patio wall completed and plaster carving at the corner; the enclosure wall and wooden entrance gates at the front of the house, a palm tree planted between the gate and the house; and weeds, dirt, and construction debris in the yard area. In the distance is Puente Hill rising over the enclosure wall. With a small loss on the left edge and some discoloration on the right edge, having little effect on the image, the overall condition is good.
