Archivist: Mary Atwell Archivist's Notes: 3/24/23 - this collection was put together and named the Helen Smith Archive" by a group of Hood employees and volunteers, after Helen Smith's death in 1997. The gathering of materials was in part to research a book put out by the group, called "Frederick's Legacy: The Art of Helen L. Smith". Also created at the time was an exhibit of Hood owned/controlled items and borrowed items from the community, held at the Beneficial-Hodson Library. Collection includes a finding aid for a series of notebooks holding collection items. Legacy collection.
