Hudson Third School HouseDescription
Hudson's 3rd school house was built in 1906 for $8,700 on a lot costing $1,200. Mr. Buckley and J.B. Brown led the effort to move the school from the cemetery to a more suitable location farther west in block 21, increasing its size. The new two-story brick building had four rooms and a basement. Primary classes were on the first floor with upper grades on the second floor. In 1907 two years of high school was offered.
