‘These Things’ is a still life I created using things laying around the house. The painting highlights the mundane objects my family and I use quite often: The blue glass container is where we store our brown sugar; the Coca Cola tins are what we use to keep certain utensils and things; the yellow tin container contains a tea that I drink often; the stool is also something used often, mostly by me, to paint. This piece is a smile of gratitude to the mundane tools that assist us even in the smallest ways.Artwork Details
