Description

This set of three blouse components includes two rectangular panels and a square panel, each adorned with the characteristic counted-thread embroidery of Atla, Sierra de Puebla. The textile base is a loosely woven cotton muslin, with designs rendered in green cotton thread using a meticulous counted-stitch technique. The panels feature a repeated pattern of stylized deer flanked by geometric motifs. All three pieces are edged with a simple overcast stitch in green thread to prevent unraveling before final blouse assembly. These panels are sold unfinished, allowing local women to incorporate them into blouses according to individual fit and preference.
