Carved mask. Guerrero, Mexico. Wood, animal horns, leather, paint, nails. 20th c. Animal horns painted green, one natural color protruding from center of forehead; Carved head of bird (?) between eyes, leather exposed tongue; face painted green, yellow, red. Oval mouth, eye opening. Hole pentrates edge at edge side - for attaching ties. Two holes at either side of center horn. Two nails in each horn project beyond horn surfaces.
