Description

This hemispherical bowl is made from a dried and hollowed jícara (gourd), with its exterior and interior surfaces smoothed by scraping and wear. The edges are thin and slightly irregular, bearing the natural curvature of the gourd. The outer surface is mottled brown with clear signs of age and use, including abrasions and minor discoloration. The interior is a lighter tan and more finely finished, with a subtle sheen from repeated handling or contact with goods. One rim section shows a small natural fracture or indentation, consistent with hand-cut shaping.
