Description

This hand-constructed push toy depicts a ferris wheel mounted on a metal frame with two wheels at the base. The frame and wheel structure are made from repurposed tin, with visible seams, solder points, and traces of oxidation. The ferris wheel consists of alternating painted sections in blue and off-white, connected to a crank mechanism designed to spin the wheel when pushed. Three small molded plastic figures are affixed to opposite seats within the wheel. The base wheels are made of cut and formed tin with inset rims painted blue, featuring a tread-like texture. A thin metal rod acts as the push handle. The original design included a rubber band component to power the spinning mechanism, which is now missing.
