Description

This quexquemitl consists of two joined white commercial muslin panels sewn together in a V-shape to form a shoulder-length garment. The panels are edged with vibrant red commercial lace trim featuring a geometric motif rendered in raised velvet-like flocking. The trim is applied along all open edges, including the neckline, which is squared and slightly open at the shoulder seam. The garment is lightweight and unlined, with plainly finished seams and modest gathering at the neckline.
