Description

This belt is crafted from tightly woven soyate fiber that grows through the highlands of Oaxaca, exhibiting a characteristic golden-yellow hue. The fiber is meticulously braided using a "diagonal weave" technique and formed into a tube then coiled into a circular form for storage or display. The texture of the soyate is coarse yet pliable, typical of materials derived from palm or yucca leaves.
