Description

Apron. Rectangular waist apron made in red velvet with white lace applique. The lace is machine made tape lace with a scalloped edge. One tape piece runs from one side down to the hem and up the other side, and others are arranged centrally to create a geometric design. 2 sets of four pin tucks decorate the bottom half of the apron, running horizontally. A blue satin ribbon works as a drawstring along the top edge. The bottom edge is hemmed but its two side seams are untouched selvages. Most likely, the velvet is synthetic and the lace is polyester.
