Description

A set of three handwoven rectangular palm mats, each featuring a central diamond motif created by diagonal bands of dyed fibers in geometric patterns. The primary ground is a natural golden-tan palm, with decorative bands in alternating colors such as magenta, purple, teal, and green. The weaving is tight and even, displaying the skill of Nahua artisans from the Sierra Norte de Puebla. Each mat has slightly tapered corners from prolonged use, with some fraying along edges.
