Description

This sleeveless woman’s vest is constructed from a bright yellow and purple commercial printed cotton featuring small-scale floral motifs around the open edges. The front panels are elaborately decorated with machine embroidery in brightly colored threads—red, green, purple, pink, and blue—arranged in floral and bird motifs bordered by intricate geometric bands in magenta, red, and white. The neckline, armholes, and front edges are finished with decorative bias tape in coordinating colors. The interior is unlined, showing the reverse of the embroidery work and construction seams. The back of the vest retains the yellow printed floral fabric without embroidery, bordered at the hem with matching embroidered trim.
