Description

A small garden planter. The planter has zoomorphic features. There is a horse head with pointed ears and a mane. The body of the planter has four legs and a tail. The body of the plater is finished in an orange slip coating, but not the neck and head. There is an incised pattern along the rim of the vessel, with the incised areas painted with orange slip. The orange slip is also used to show details on the face and to create decorate on the body of the planter.
