Description

Unfinished "telar" upon cut and finished and some unfinished pieces of wood (which is the loom itself). The pieces of wood are 15 1/2" to 18 1/2" long. 16 1/2" of the telar is finished and the ramaining 9.0" consists of unwoven strands henequen kept in place by four pieces of wood. The telar is woven of purple henequen with horizontal stripes of pink henequin. Running vertically are two bands of green, yellow, red, and green henequen 6 1/4" apart from one another. At the top of the loom is a thin pink henequen strap. Size: 25 1/2" x 13" (64.7cm x 33.0cm)
