Description

Huipil (Blouse). Blouse (huipil) & skirt; Mayan woman's costume; white with multi-colored cotton thread used for cross-stitching. Finished at neck, collar, and hem with lace. Hipil, long white sleeveless blouse with square colar in front and back. Collar is cross stitched in a multi-colored floral design; neck and edges of collar finished in white lace; multi-colored cross stitched floral pattern is repeated at the bottom of the huipil and finished with a 2" band at the bottom of the huipil. The bottom of the cross-stitched band is finished with a 57/8" wide band of floral design lace.
