Basket with lid constructed of light, natural unfinished reed using a plaited weaving technique. The lid is constructed of 1/2 cm. reed woven around 3 cm. strips which are arranged dagonally. The plaited weaving technique is sepeated on the baskent bottom where the sides are constructed of 1/2 cm tula woven horizonally around vertical elements ranging in size from 2.0 to 3.5 cm. two 3 cm. bands wun horizontally around the bottom half of the basket.Artwork Details
