Description

Handwoven animal muzzle made from strips of natural plant fiber woven around a circular wooden frame. The muzzle has a tapered, basket-like shape with an open weave that allows airflow while limiting the animal’s ability to graze. Vertical wooden supports and horizontal woven strips create a sturdy yet lightweight structure. Wider pieces of bark or plant fiber are folded over the top rim and secured to strengthen the opening. The object has a natural finish with variations in brown, tan, and gray-green tones caused by the untreated materials. The muzzle was designed to fit over a goat’s snout and is both functional and durable for everyday use.
