9 inches x 1 7/8 inches at one end narrowing to 5/8 inch at other. Hollowed horn has wooden plug at one end. In wood is a nail used to secure carrying strap which is made of braided twine;. Seven small tacks hold wooden plug in place. Narrower end of horn is carved down to make place for carrying strap to be attached.
