The image is framed in a wooden frame that has multiple tiers of wood. The inner frame has a metal lining and then a gold painted rim. The back of the frame is wood and wire.

Son of Thomas A. Grandson of Amos, and great grandson of Shubael Williams (1730-1804), originally from New London, CT, an early settler. Brother in law of Sarah (above)"
