Scope and Content

Carbon copy of typed document, on legal size paper in a manila folder. The heading begins, "When Bath was made a city in 1848, the following firms were building vessels in the various yards of the city, some of which are still used for the purpose.(1899)" The entries are in two columns on 12 pages Each builder's name is followed by entries for vessels, giving date, type of vessel, name of vessel and sometimes tonnage.
