17 small books 8 of the books have "Fine Groceries" written on the fronts and measure 5 7/8 inches x 3 1/2 inches. These and a book titled Pierce's Memorandum Account Book appear to have belonged to Delmar Hatch and contain accounts that may relate to the stable and driving business. Another book of the same size with "Memorandum" written on the cover has the name A. H. Hutchins printed at the top. Yet another book of the same size is bound in leather and belonged to Delmar Edward Hatch. Another book of the same size is missing its cover but appears to have belonged to E. D. Hatch. A 5 7/8 inch x 3 7/8 inch book is titled "Maine Discount System" and may have belonged to Leon Guy Hatch. A book measuring 4 1/4 inches x 2 1/2 inches has a leather cover and may have belonged to Dell Hatch. Another book titled Pierce's Memorandum Account Book measures 5 3/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches and may relate to the stable business. The last book is Instructions to the Ground Observer Corps, U. S.
