Scope and Content

Framed map as described in the accompanying letter (SC295). The map is matted and in a frame 30 1/4 x 22 inches, narrow black with gilded inner edge. The exposed area of the map is 22 1/2 x 15 inches. It is described in a letter from Milford Vieser as "a copy of the manuscript map of the New England Coast by Samuel de Champlain".
