Publ in New York, Harper & Bros. 1865. Contains an Appendix listing officers (only), names not claimed to be complete, taken from adjutant's book at Columbia (prison), showing name, rank, regiment, when captured, where captured, and residence. Originally belonged to James H Veazie and inscribed "July 24th 1879/ James H Veazie of Islesboro Me/ laying in Port Richmond in the Brig Abby Thaxter waiting for cargo at Pier 1 very hot and moderate." First in collection of Islesboro Free Library Aug 1935.
