Original deed dated March 17, 1847 conveying 3/4ths of the Schooner Augusta now enrolled at the port of Salem, from Pyam Dodge of Salem, Massacusetts to James Hatch of Islesborough, Maine in consideration of $1000, Schr Augusta was built at Orland in 1833 has one deck, two masts, is 80' 1" long 22' 7" in breadth , 7' 6" in depth, 118 tons, has a square stern, no galleries, and no figurehead.
