Two ten page booklets (a,b) produced by the Maine State Ferry Service to increase tourist travel to the islands of Penobscot Bay. On the front of the booklets is a color drawing of the Everett Libby ferry. The booklets are full of many color photographs and sections of nautical charts advertising ferry serivces from Rockland to North Haven and Vinalhaven, Lincolnville Beach to Islesboro and Warren's Island, and Bass Harbor to Swan's Island and Long Island Plantation. The Islesboro section of the booklets feature pictures of Lincolnville Beach, a three-masted schooner (Victory Chimes?), the Governor Muskie ferry, the first tee at the Tarratine golf course, and Gindel Point. The last two pages of the booklets are dedicated to the identification of marine life and lights and buoys. The back of the booklets are covered in a small nautical chart covering the coastline from Thomaston to Sorrento.
