This scrapbook page has a photograph of Lee McCorison and Josephine Barton grinding pork in preparation for making hog's head cheese. An adjoining article tells about a couple of Dark Harbor summer residents who travelled around Europe playing tennis as "Good Will" Ambassadors. Two other pictures show Mrs. Howard Rollins, a recent Islesboro transplant at the time, who had busied herself with keeping the Alice L. Pendleton Library's scrapbooks up to date as well as by teaching piano and playing organ in church. A third photo shows Frank Rollins and Roger Shirkley installing snow fences along Islesboro roads.
