This scrapbook page has five newspaper articles. The first, a short article about the releasing of native ruffled grouse to Islesboro is dated May 3, 1972. Another article documents general handy-man, Warren E. Bennett's hobby of remodeling old houses. One article has a corresponding photo of Toni Dodge having coffee at Grindle's Point. It discusses the well-being of Toni's "tiny Snack Shack" in its eighth consecutive summer of operation. A fourth article highlights the unusual mixed-grades orchestra at Islesboro Central School, made out of necessity due to the schools small student population.
