This letter appears to be part of an ongoing correspondence between Islesboro native Mrs. Dorothy Pendleton and Albert F. Barnes, State Editor of the Portland Press Herald. A short letter, it is typed on Press Herald, Evening Express, Maine Sunday Telegram letterhead with a photograph of the papers' headquarters in the upper left-hand corner. The letter is dated August 20, 1971 and asks Mrs. Pendleton to continue being the papers' free-lance correspondent. Reminding her, "I am always in the market for good news features and profiles."
