Description

Bowl from Williams commode set, c. 20"d, white china, decorated with a floral design, carrtouche in faded gold (?), and molded swirl edging with gold edging. No maker's mark; possibly Bavarian c. 1890. Comes from the Avery Gilkey house: daughter Sarah A Gilkey married Winsor Williams, whose son Amasa E. Williams left house to cousin Marie Poulin, who left it to Pyam W. Williams (Amasa's son) and thus to Pyam's daughter Beth and son Jack.
