Red metal button with fastener on reverse side for inserting into jacket, etc.
1 1/2 inch in diameter with white lettering around edge "I Love That Sto-ah". In the center are two white hearts with a white arrow entering and leaving the hearts. There is red lettering in the middle of the hearts "P & C".
(P & C stands for Pendleton and Coffin)
Special Significance: These buttons were made to advertise the opening of the new store in 1979. This store replaced the old F.S. Pendleton Store.
(The Pendleton and Coffin Store is now the building that houses the Town Office, the Health Center and the Fire Station, with a planned preschool on the second floor. 8/30//1991--Joanne Hammar, Registrar)
