A tri-fold pamphlet c,1970 advertising Islesboro Inn. The front shows a woman sitting on a bench looking across the water at schooners, the distant schooner possibly being the "Bowdoin", and the Camden Hills in the distance. To the side of the picture is the Islesboro Inn logo of an anchor with an capital 'i' on either side. Inside is a photograph of the front of the Inn from Penobscot Bay, and a series of photographs of vacationers eating, lounging, and playing tennis. Amongst the pictures are small descriptive paragraphs and colorful lines like, "Causal Elegance is the theme," "Cocktails on the Patio," and "Focal point for relaxation-- the Lounge." The back of the pamphlet sports a small map giving directions to the Islesboro Inn from the Maine Turnpike, as well as written descriptions as how to travel to Dark Harbor by car, plane, or bus.
The pamphlet was designed photographed and published by Yankee Colour Corp. in Southborough, Mass. and was copyrighted in 1970
