Heavy metal license plate, 11 7/8 inches x 6 1/4 inches, with black background and raised white letters and numbers. Each corner has a hole and the top edge also has a slot 1 1/4 inches long near each end.
Special Significance: License plate could have been on one of the 1st cars on the island, which was opened to cars March 17, 1933.
Original Inscription: "81 - 623 MAINE 1933"
