AARP wooden gavel, 3 1/4 inches long, 1 inch in diameter (with lines and depressions from turning) attached to a wooden handle 6 1/2 inches long and 1/4 inch - 3/4 inch in diameter with lines around the handle. The gavel has a copper strip screwed to the center (opposite the handle) inscribed with the words "AARP Islesboro, Maine".
