61 1/2 inches x 23 1/2 inches x 41 3/4 inches. Sofa has arms, seat, and back upholstered with black cloth. Cloth is attached to the frame with buttons. Front of frame has a simple design. The wooden legs are a continuation of the frame and not attached. They are turned in front. The arms are 27 inches long. The back measures 29 1/2 inches x 26 1/2 inches x 2 inches and is attached to the middle of the sofa.
Special Significance: This was used by the original settlers of the Farrow (John) Family. Mrs. Hammond is a Farrow and used it when she was hostess at the Sailor's Memorial Museum. It remains at the Museum on loan from the Historical Society.
