1942 Islesboro High School emblem shaped plaque, 16 inches x 16 1/2 inches. Both sides painted identically. Navy blue background with white lettering. The insignia reads "1943 I H S".
Special Significance: Paul Pendleton '43 remembers the plaque hanging on the stage at the 1943 graduation in the present Historical Society Building.
