A soft pack of L&M cigarettes with a sticker bearing the Presidential Seal. Measures 4 inches length, 2 1/4 inches width, 7/8 inch height.
The front is a photograph of a man and woman by a waterfall in the autumn, with the inscription L&M SUPER KINGS
The sides have a Surgeon General Warning and the company address.
The Sticker placed over the back has the Presidential Seal:
A gold circle with the words:
SEAL OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
In the center is the American Eagle
Below it reads
"WELCOME TO THE WHITE HOUSE STAFF MESS"
Date of Origin: 1971
Donor: Believed to be David Rolerson
Special Significance: These cigarettes were left behind from President Nixon's stay on Minot's Island, while visiting Jack Dreyfus in August 1971.
