Portrait (21.5" x 18")of a man dressed in dark suit, curly/bushy sideburns and moustache, on cardboard. Technique is charcoal based on a photograph, a popular technique ca.1880-1910. This was found in the attic of the former Marcellus Veazie home now owned by Paul Hanson and is unidentified (no name, no artist's name). Shown to Marjorie Welldon (nee Veazie) and compared with many pictures of members of that family. A picture of Isaac Warren is a good match but no direct connection can be found.
