Square charcoal sketch of a young man , probably done in the late 19th century, an original sketch, not the usual photograph plus charcoal technique called "photographic crayon" technique. It was done on heavy paper, and according to a note on the back "cleaned and foil backing - Oct. 6, 1977 - Dorothy Pendleton and Veronica Pendleton." No identification.
This young man has a moustache, is dressed in a suit with white stiff collar & tie in a wide Windor knot. Framed in 1 5/8" framing with an intricate pattern , gilded, overall size 18.75" x 24.5" Glazed.
