Trunk 27 1/2 inches x 20 inches x 16 1/2 inches. Canvas covered wooden top and sides, both with raised wooden slats. Bottom is covered and protected with a sheet of metal (tin?) which is edged with wood so that it is raised off the surface. There are 16 trunk corners and 4 trunk "corners" for straight edges. Two leather handles, 2 hasps, 2 catches and 1 lock are on various surfaces of the trunk. The inside is lined with striped cloth. Missing is a tray.
