Tintype portrait of an unidentified man in middle age. Dark bearded, he stands formally in the photographer's studio, one hand resting on the back of a chair. He wears a frock coat. His waistcoat and trousers are of darker material, and his boots are lighter-colored. His watch chain is prominently displayed. Possibly Civil War era? Found in the Atterbury-Moody correspondence.
