Description

This is a white ceramic/china plate blue prints and details. The plate features several locations from around the island, including: Bridge East Drive, Islesboro Inn, Golf Ground, Club House, West Shore" The back of the plate reads: "Clarence E. Daniels Jeweller Rockland, ME estab 1892" The attached label reads: This souvenir plate was commissioned and sold by "Clarence E Daniels, Jeweller, of Rockland, ME est. 1892" The picture of the Islesboro Inn is of the first inn, which was built in 1890 and burned in 1915, which places this plate between 1892 and 1915. This place was found in a yard sale some 25 years ago, and is loaned to museum by Mary Durkee Gadbois"
