A wooden cylinder 36 inches long and 3/4 inch in diameter, covered with pink and beige ribbon in a pattern of alternating rows of pink diamonds and beige diamonds, ending on each end with a rosette of the two colored ribbons.
SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE: The baton was used by a junior to lead the graduating class into the auditorium.
PERSONAL ASSOCIATIONS: Either Richard Sprague or Lamont Rolerson carried this baton. Richard Sprague gave the baton to Nellie, who graduated in 1944. Lamont Rolerson was her brother, and he carried the baton in 1947.
