A wooden cylinder 30 inches long and 3/4 inch in diameter, covered with blue and gray ribbon in a pattern of alternating rows of blue diamonds and gray diamonds, ending with a rosette of ribbons on one end. The other end of rosettes is missing.
SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE: The baton was used by a junior to lead the graduating class into the auditorium.
PERSONAL ASSOCIATIONS: Both Richard Sprague and Lamont Rolerson carried this baton. Richard Sprague (1944) gave the baton to Nellie, a graduating senior. Lamont Rolerson was her brother, and he carried the baton for the class of 1947.
