Cream colored silk scarf approximately 62 3/4 inches long and 4 inches wide. Lace work covers approximately 5 1/2 inches from and including each end. Lace work consists of cutting patterns into the cloth and connecting and decorating the pieces by tatting.
SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE: This scarf was worn in the fashion show at a Historical Society program in the sumer of 1992.
PERSONAL ASSOCIATIONS: Probably worn by her great-grandmother Clayton who spent many summers at Hewes Point.
