Small dish, 5 1/4 inches in diameter, base 3 inches in diameter, 1 inch deep. On the inside of the dish is a painting of the Seaside House and the sides of the dish are painted light blue grading into a pale yellow. Within the painted area are gold-colored blossoms and leaves. At the bottom in the center of the dish is a painting of the Seaside Hotel. The outline of the parts of the hotel are linked or etched in with dark gray pigment. The hotel is painted in dark gray. At the bottom of the picture is a scrolled sign --inscription below.
ORIGINAL INSCRIPTION: "Seaside Hotel, Ilesboro, M "(rest is missing).
PERSONAL ASSOCIATIONS: Bobsy's great grandfather, Benjamin Ryder owned and ran the Seaside Hotel which stood near Bobsy's and her husband's present house at Ryder's Cove.
