Wooden shaft box, 27 inches x 3 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches with a hole through the length of the box, with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. The box has nicks, cuts, and has been stained from smoke and water. (The box protected the shaft which ran through it from being banged by various moving objects.)
