Wooden chest, 39 3/4 inches x 15 1/2 inches x 16 1/2 inches high, stained reddish brown, rope "handles" on each end, hinged cover. Inside near top left, small compartment with cover, 13 inches x 5 1/2 inches x 5 inches deep.
PERSONAL ASSOCIATIONS: This was probably used by Elisha Nash, Virginia Nash's father-in-law.
