American Legion uniform. 1 blue jacket, 29 inches long, 4 pockets in front, each with buttons with American Legion insignia. Yellow stripes near bottom of sleeves. American Legion patches on each lapel. Loops for belt. Maine State Insignia patch on left sleeve.
One pair of blue trousers with yellow stripe down the outside of each leg.
1 blue cap with gold edging on cuff. #43 on right side and American Legion insignia with MAINE in yellow letters on left.
ORIGINAL INSCRIPTION: inside of coat or jacket: "Official Uniform - Legionnaire Uniform Co. Boston, Mass. Haskell & Corthrell Camden, ME"
PERSONAL ASSOCIATIONS: Uniform belonged to Robert S. Pendleton (deceased) who was a good friend.
